The Aim of the EuroseminarTo present the Christian ethic in personal and professional military responsibilities- based on an active personal Christian faith- as a highly effective moral and Central and Eastern Europe. Why offer the Euroseminar? Many of the leaders of the Armed Forces in the former Soviet Bloc with whom we have contact consider that they need to fill the vacuum left by atheistic Communism with an effective moral frame work which will undergird their leadership training. These seminars offer an intensive ‘first time’ look at the key issues involved from a ‘Western’ perspective and seek to stimulate debate about some Christian solutions to those needs.Who contributes? Who participates?Serving professional officers and chaplains from several different countries who in combat (e.g. Vietnam, the Gulf War, Northern Ireland, Falklands Campaign) and peacetime operations have put their own Christian faith to the test.Averagely, to date 90-120 key serving military officers of the host nation participate. The Minister of Defence or his Deputy has opened the event with senior officers from his Ministry.
The Euroseminars are run for the Association of Military Christian Fellowships (AMCF) by Accts Military Ministries International
