This page is for the benefit of the many people in isolated military postings, where the important element of meeting with others for mutual encouragement is impractical. In such situations it is of course important to keep up ones daily time with God, however brief, including a reading from the Bible, and it may well be possible to attend a church service from time to time. But it may be impossible for you to enjoy the other element of Christian life mentioned in Acts 2. 42, 44 - fellowship with those who have things in common with you.
To help you if you find yourself in that situation, we offer a brief comment as if in your company, and wanting to enjoy a discussion with you about matters that are related to serving as Christians in the Armed Forces. The comment will be by a Christian who has military experience, and that will normally mean experience also of being isolated from fellowship.
It would be very helpful if they were to hear from some who value this provision, possibly with comments, or suggestions about what should be discussed. You can do this openly by clicking on 'contact us' on the home page ( where incidentally you don't have to give your address if you don't wish to receive mail from us). However, you may be a military Christian in a country where suspicion could be attached to your linking in fellowship with military people from other countries, and in that case you might feel it wiser to send a private e-mail to Accts MMI, if necessary using just your Christian name or a pseudonym, but affirming that you are a Christian in the Armed Forces. Send it to headoffice@acctsmmi.com, with the subject heading 'Fellowship From Afar'. Although it will still be possible for us to reply to your e-mail in the normal way, we will not have any means of identifying you, or where you are.
Your comments may be posted anonymously on this web page from time to time, unless you request us not to do so.
